mYVOTE PROJECT

In partnership with Sari Kaufman, Yale freshman and Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Alum, and David McAdams Duke University Professor, Gita Stulberg of SJL co-founded and serves as Director of MyVote Project (MVP) a non-partisan voter education platform revolutionizing the way people vote and think about politics. MVP aims to give voters the background they seek to know the policies that impact their lives and know the candidates who want to represent them at all levels of government. MVP’s mission is to arm voters with relevant information before they enter the voting booth. Visit us at MyVoteProject.com.

THE WALTER STAFFORD PROJECT: RACIAL INEQUALITY IN NEW YORK CITY

Based at New York University, this project brings together specialists from a broad spectrum of disciplines to study the historical and ongoing causes, trends, and consequences of racial inequality in New York City. SJL organized a series of community conversations in October 2019 to discuss the findings presented in the anthology “Racial Inequality in New York City Since 1965.” As we develop the community conversation model, our hope is to impact policy prescriptions and solutions to the many issues presented in the anthology and duplicate this approach in additional cities.
